8 травня — День пам’яті та примирення, присвячений жертвам Другої світової війни. У цей день ми вшановуємо загиблих воїнів, мирних жителів, усіх, чиї життя були зруйновані війною та злочинами проти людяності.
Колектив Василівської міської військової адміністрації долучився до свічкової ходи на знак вшанування пам’яті полеглих. Кожен вогник — це знак пам’яті про тих, хто загинув, і нагадування про високу ціну свободи.
Сьогодні ці слова звучать по-особливому. Україна знову у війні — у боротьбі за свободу, незалежність і майбутнє. Російсько-українська війна ще раз доводить: мир і свобода потребують захисту.
Пам’ятаючи минуле, ми усвідомлюємо цінність сьогодення.
Вшановуючи загиблих тоді — дякуємо тим, хто боронить Україну зараз.
Світла пам’ять жертвам Другої світової війни. Вічна шана всім, хто віддав життя за Україну.
Слава Україні. Героям слава.

May 8 marks the Day of Remembrance and Reconciliation dedicated to the victims of World War II. On this day, we honor fallen soldiers, civilians, and all those whose lives were destroyed by war and crimes against humanity.
The team of the Vasylivka City Military Administration joined a candlelight march to honor the memory of the fallen. Each light is a symbol of remembrance for those who lost their lives and a reminder of the high price of freedom. Today, these words carry a special meaning. Ukraine is once again at war — fighting for freedom, independence, and the future. The Russian-Ukrainian war once again proves that peace and freedom must be defended.
By remembering the past, we realize the value of the present.
By honoring those who died then, we thank those who are defending Ukraine today. Blessed memory to the victims of World War II. Eternal honor to all who gave their lives for Ukraine.
Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the Heroes.
